FAQ

Common questions

Can I make a GST bill on my phone?
Yes. Invoice Saathi runs in your phone browser and installs like an app. Add your items once, tap them on New Bill, take payment and tap Generate bill.
Do I need GST registration to make a bill?
No. In Setup, choose Not registered and your bills print as bills of supply with no tax charged. Not sure which one fits you? Ask your CA.
What if the customer has not paid yet (udhaar)?
Leave Cash and UPI / Card empty and the bill is recorded as udhaar (unpaid). The Udhaar due total shows on Records.
Can I edit a bill after I generate it?
No. A bill you have issued keeps its number and contents, so check it before you tap Generate bill. A mistake is fixed with a credit note, not an edit.
